D'autres cartes de Noël?! More Christmas Cards?!

Eh oui, c'est la saison après tout! Et comme je n'ai plus de voix (laryngite), j'en profite pour écrire! Voici une des toutes premières cartes de Noël que j'ai confectionnée, mais pour une raison quelconque je n'ai jamais montré. Elle fut réalisée avec l'ensemble Présentation parfaite. Cet ensemble pour hôtesse de palier 2 est rempli de belles estampes et je n'ai pas encore exploré toutes les possibilités qu'elles offrent. Notez que les petits pois en relief ont été gaufrés à sec à l'aide du gabarit Classy Brass "Dots", de la table lumineuse et du stylet Empressor. Les pois reflètent bien le papier à l'intérieur de la carte, qui fait partie du papier Fringant de la série Design. J'ai découpé un côté du sapin et de l'étoile pour offrir une finition spéciale. Une entaille dans le pli de la carte ainsi qu'à gauche du tronc de l'arbre acceuille le ruban. Très linéaire, mais festif.





'Tis the season after all! I can't speak today (laryngitis), so I will write! Here's one of the very first Christmas cards I made this year, but for some reason never posted about it. It was made with the Perfect Presentation Level 2 Hostess stamp set. This set is so versatile and I haven't had a chance to explore all the possibilities it offers. The dots on the front of the cards were made using the dry embossing technique with the Dots Classy Brass template, the light table and the Empressor Stylus. It picks up the dots from the inside of the card, which comes from the Dashing Designer Series paper. I cut one side of the tree and the star to create an interesting finish to the front of the card. I've also added a slit on the fold and on the left of the tree trunk to allow for the grosgrain ribbon to pass through the card and knot in the front. Very clean lines, but festive nonetheless!
